What Clinicians Are Saying
“Auto-Detect finds the optimal surface pressure for the client. This makes the set-up easy, and eliminates the need for constant monitoring by healthcare staff.”
Ashley
OT, Interior Health
“The Palm is just so quiet...”
Emily
OT, Fraser Health
“The Palm has become our top choice for residents. After trying multiple surfaces for a resident, the Palm stood out as the one where the resident didn't 'bottom out' while sitting. Residents using this surface have shown positive outcomes in prevention and wound healing. Plus, it's easy for our care staff to use. We'll definitely continue to purchase this surface!”

Clinical Features

Alternating Pressure Therapy
1-in-3 air cells gently inflate and deflate to enhance pressure redistribution and promote blood flow to high-risk tissues allowing greater oxygenation and healing. 'SmoothCell' technology facilitates gentle cell movement and ensures clients remain stable and unaffected by the surface movement.

Micro Low Air Loss Therapy
Constant flow of air to maintain constant temperature and reduce humidity. Promotion of skin integrity through reduced moisture build-up.

Auto-Detect Technology
Auto-Detect technology automatically calibrates optimal pressure based on bodyweight and surface area. This improves the efficiency of set-up, reducing the need for on-going caregiver adjustments.
Other Clinical Features
Bottoming-out Protection
Lower air cells remain inflated to reduce risk of 'bottoming-out'. Clients can be repositioned without added pressure on bony or high-risk areas.
8" Surface Depth
Designed for use with homecare and hospital beds and side rails. Surface depth allows full body contact and immersion to reduce pressure points on high-risk areas.
SmoothCell Design
Cells alternate slowly and keep clients at a level height, stable and unaffected by surface movement. Gentle cell transitions reduce shear and friction.
StaticPillow
Motionless head section promotes head and neck positioning and reduces potential disturbance to the client.
EasyCover
Cover easily removed for cleaning and disinfecting, and can be laundered. Ease of cleaning supports infection control.
Low Noise Pump
Quiet sleep environment promotes sleep and restoration of tissues. Decreased agitation reduces risk of tissue damage from shear and friction.
Auto-Lock
Locks the control panel so settings are left untampered.
Auto-Firm
Mattress cells inflate to max for caregiver management. After 20 minutes the system automatically returns to the previously selected therapy mode.
Therapeutic Modes

Alternating Pressure Therapy
1-in-3 air cells gently inflate and deflate to safely offload pressure while maintaining body contact. SmoothCell design reduces shear and friction.

Pulsate Therapy
Promotes increased capillary blood flow, enhancing circulation and oxygenation delivery to compromised tissues for wound healing.

Constant Low Pressure (CLP)
Air cells maintain lower pressure for greater body immersion — promotes pressure redistribution and reduction of peak pressures. For frail, palliative, or hypersensitive clients unable to tolerate cell movement.
