1-in-3 air cells gently inflate and deflate to enhance pressure redistribution and promote blood flow to high-risk tissues allowing greater oxygenation and healing. ‘SmoothCell’ technology facilitates gentle cell movement and ensures clients remain stable and unaffected by the surface movement.

Lower air cells remain inflated to reduce risk of "bottoming-out'. Client is able to be turned or change position without risk of increased pressure on bony and high-risk areas.

8” Surface Depth

Designed for use with homecare and hospital beds and side rails. Surface depth suitable to allow full body surface contact and immersion to reduce pressure points on high-risk areas leading to skin breakdown.

'StaticPillow'

Motionless head section to promote head and neck positioning and reduce potential disturbance to the client.

'SmoothCell' Design

Cells alternate slowly and keeps clients at a level height. This ensures clients remain stable and unaffected by the surface movement.

Low Noise Pump

Quiet sleep environment promotes sleep and restoration of tissues. Decreased agitation and associated movement reduces risk of tissue damage due to shear and friction.

Cover easily removed for cleaning/disinfecting and can be laundered. Ease of cleaning ensures infectionprotection.

Ensures settings are left untampered.

'Auto-Firm'

Mattress cells inflate to max for caregiver management. After 20 minutes the system automatically returns to the previously selected Therapeutic Mode.

Cells alternate slowly to ensure clients remain stable and unaffected by the surface movement. The 'SmoothCell' design promotes gentle cell movement reducing shear and friction.

Promotes increased capillary blood flow enhancing circulation and oxygenation delivery to compromised tissues, essential for wound healing.

Air cells maintain at a lower pressure to allow greater body immersion. This constant level of air promotes pressure redistribution and reduction of peak pressures for frail, palliative or hypersensitive clients who cannot tolerate cell movement.

How do I maintain an Evergreen control unit?

To ensure longevity of the control unit, inspect/clean the filter monthly. Replace the filter yearly.

How do I clean an Evergreen surface top-cover?

Disinfecting the top-cover
1. Remove the cover
2. Wipe the cover using a single use wipe and a .1% Chlorine Solution (1000ppm) and cold water
3. Ensure cover is completely dry, before refitting the cover to the mattress

Deep-Clean/Machine Wash Instructions for top-cover
1. Pre-wash 60°C for 15 minutes
2. Main wash 60°C for 15 minutes
3. Finish with cold rinse
4. Hang in a clean indoor environment, or tumble dry on a low heat setting for up to 90-minutes up to 40°C.

Covers must be completely dry before refitting to the mattress.

*If the mattress bottom cover needs to be washed on the OpalAir – remove the ‘Fowler’s mode detector’ before the Deep-Clean/Machine Wash.

Does Evergreen offer a warranty?

Yes, 2-years from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.

What sizes are available in Evergreen surfaces?

All mattresses come in a standard 35’’/36’’ width x 80’’ length. Evergreen can also offer custom size widths (i.e. 39’’, 42’’ or 48’’) and lengths. Contact us to customize your surface.

What can you place over an Evergreen surface?
A loosely tucked sheet is appropriate and still allows the mattress to work effectively. In terms of disposable pads, there are some available that are designed for Low Air Loss surfaces and that may be optical. Consult with a healthcare professional on the best covers to use based on the clinical application.
