- Heel protection matters — the surface has a dedicated lower-profile heel section.
- The bedhead is frequently raised, and pressure at the sacrum needs managing in that position.
How it works
Alternating pressure cycles one in three air cells, so the loaded area of the body changes over time rather than staying constant. True low air loss passes a continuous high flow of air through the surface to moderate temperature and humidity at the skin. Auto-Detect calibrates cell pressure to the client’s weight and surface area, and Auto-Fowler adds air to the sacral and pelvic area when the bedhead is raised.
