The Sandbar is a versatile cushion that can provide support to a specific body part. Its unique wedge shape, combined with EverPod™ Technology, allows the malleable cushion to be contoured—supporting immersion of bony structures or offloading high-risk areas—while maintaining a specific angle to protect joints and reduce edema in the hands and feet. The stability of the Sandbar Cushion supports positioning to promote circulation or to block destructive postural tendencies. When used with the lower extremities, it can provide a weight-bearing surface for the calves—allowing the heels and ankles to remain free of contact or friction with the sleep surface. In addition to supporting long-term positioning, it can also be used to stabilize acute injuries to the extremities or provide support during post-surgical healing or lymphatic drainage. These cushions are suitable for positioning and support in treatment settings, seating and positioning clinics, and during medical or diagnostic procedures (e.g., x-ray, scans).
